What I liked

I really enjoyed that I was able to learn about the Publix company and what it means to be a part of a company like that. Everybody was super friendly and helpful to me. They had patience with me while I learned everything about my department.

What I wish was different

There is not anything I wish would have been different. I was quite content with what Publix had to offer me as a new employee.

Advice

I would like to share that as long as you give it your best effort that there is not much you could ask from yourself. Just know that you are doing your best, and take time to be yourself if you feel overwhelmed from everything else. While at Publix, when I felt overwhelmed, I would take a quick break and I knew that I needed it and it would be helpful.

I enjoyed working with my associates the most, they made the job fun and were always helpful!

What I wish was different

I wish the managing of people on deck would have been more. The store I worked at was always incredibly busy and sometimes it felt like there was too much to do and not enough time to do it.

Advice

Always remember that when customers were mean it wasn’t your fault, that maybe they had something going on it their lives. It’s just a job don’t take those feelings home with you.
