Summer Intern – Arts Management/Youth Education
The Theatre Lab School of the Dramatic Arts | Washington, DC

Are you passionate about arts education, non-profit work, or arts management? The Theatre Lab, DC’s largest theatre school, is seeking a motivated college or graduate student for a 10-week summer internship (June 16–August 23). Join a dynamic team dedicated to transforming lives through theatre education and gain hands-on experience in arts administration, youth and scholarship programming, marketing, fundraising, and event planning.

As an intern, you’ll support the coordination of youth and adult classes, assist with performances, answer inquiries, and help manage registration systems. You’ll also provide in-classroom support and contribute to daily operations. The internship includes valuable professional development: mentorship from senior staff, interaction with top-level theatre professionals, and free enrollment in Theatre Lab classes.

Ideal candidates will have at least one year of college-level study in arts, education, communications, or a related field. Strong communication skills, independence, and a passion for arts education are essential.

Work hours are Monday–Friday, 12–6pm (30 hours/week). A stipend of $200/week is provided along with a year's worth of tuition-free classes (estimated value $3,200). Applicants with partial availability will also be considered.

Apply now and scholarship and take the next step in your arts career.
