Overview

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Marketing and Sales Intern to join our team in Richmond, KY. Responsibilities

Research and compile contact lists from online sources to identify potential clients and partners.

Attend networking events to establish connections and promote our brand within the Central Kentucky community.

Build and maintain a prospect list based on gathered contacts and market research.

Clean and organize the prospect list to ensure accuracy and relevance.

Assist in stuffing and dropping off mailers for marketing campaigns.

Conduct follow-up calls to prospects after mailings have been delivered to gauge interest and gather feedback.

Collaborate with the marketing and sales team to support ongoing projects and initiatives.

Qualifications

Current enrollment in a college or university in Central Kentucky (e.g., Eastern Kentucky University, University of Kentucky, or similar).

Strong interest in marketing, sales, or related fields.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for networking and follow-up calls.

Basic computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively, balancing internship duties with academic commitments.

Reliable transportation for attending events and dropping off mailers in the Richmond, KY area.

Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills for list management and mailer preparation.

Preferred Skills

Experience with CRM software or data management tools is a plus.

Previous participation in campus organizations or events.

Creative problem-solving and a proactive attitude.

Schedule

Flexible part-time hours, approximately 5-10 hours per week.

Schedule to be coordinated with the intern’s academic calendar.

Some evening or weekend availability may be required for networking events.
