UI/UX iOS App Development Intern
UI/UX & iOS-App-Development Intern
About Us
Omi Health is a funded, pre-revenue startup raising its pre-seed round. Founded by repeat startup operators and Harvard Business School graduates, we’re building the front door to pet healthcare—combining biomarker testing and an AI-powered longevity coach to help pets live longer, healthier lives. Omi Health is an equal-opportunity employer and welcomes candidates from every background and identity.
About the Role
Help transform early wireframes into a production-ready SwiftUI iOS app that thousands of pet parents will use this year. You’ll drive interface craft and hands-on coding, partnering with founders and a full-stack intern to ship a polished v1 to TestFlight and the App Store.
What You’ll Do
- Refine lo-fi prototypes into high-fidelity SwiftUI mock-ups; codify a reusable design system (colors, type, SF Symbols).
- Apply Apple Human Interface Guidelines, accessibility best-practices, and motion/animation where it adds clarity.
- Build feature slices in Swift 6 + SwiftUI 5—onboarding, VetAI chat view, file-upload flow—integrating with our Supabase/GraphQL backend.
- Design and moderate usability studies with beta pet parents; turn insights into iteration tickets.
- Archive to TestFlight, collect feedback, and present results at the “Pet-Longevity Showcase.”
