Sports Media, Inc. is looking for a driven and articulate Public Relations Intern to join our communications and brand strategy team. What You’ll Do
Media Relations & Outreach
- Craft press releases, pitch letters, media kits, and public statements.
- Build and manage media lists, maintain ongoing communication with journalists and media outlets.
- Secure press coverage for our brands, clients, and campaigns across local, national, and global media.
Cross-Industry PR Strategy
- Work with internal teams to position projects in sports, entertainment, retail, manufacturing, and tech startups.
- Develop custom PR angles for each client or division—identifying what makes a product, founder, or initiative newsworthy.
Brand Messaging & Crisis Comms
- Assist in creating clear, consistent brand voice documentation and messaging frameworks.
- Learn the fundamentals of brand reputation management, both proactive and reactive.
Events, Launches & Media Coordination
- Help plan and promote brand launches, press conferences, influencer campaigns, and trade shows.
- Coordinate interviews, podcasts, livestreams, and digital media appearances.
Internal & External Communications
- Collaborate with copywriting, social media, video, and design teams to unify campaign messaging.
- Assist with public-facing communications across websites, podcasts, newsletters, and social platforms.

Requirements

- Monday at 9:00 AM MST
- Wednesday at 10:00 AM MST
- Friday at 8:00 AM MST
