Human Resources Summer College Aide

The OCME Human Resources team serves as an organizational partner for the facilitation of all workforce management, recruitment and engagement processes and policies. We are currently seeking a Summer College Aide to report to the Director of HR operations and assist in various areas within HR, including helping with the record digitization projects, reviewing the standard of procedures (SOP), agencies trainings, and special projects. The intern will assist in the following: 

 

  • Manage the career counseling email box and calendar for Director 
  • Send correspondences to the appropriate parties on DCAS or in-house trainings
  • Assist with the digital office transition agency project 
  • Review all SOPs for all areas within HR
  • Provide support with special projects as needed
  • Perform other administrative duties as assigned

 

In essence, the intern should possess the following skillsets: 

 

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills 
  • Ability to perform tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with Excel spreadsheets, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Outlook, and Microsoft Word.
  • Be innovated and a self-starter
