As a Community Outreach Intern, you’ll gain hands-on experience in social impact work while collaborating with a compassionate, high-performing team that believes in the transformative power of education, culture, and connection.
Whether you're drawn to storytelling through social media, crafting compelling grant proposals, organizing fundraising events, or supporting volunteer initiatives, this internship is your launchpad to meaningful work with measurable impact.

Who Can Apply?
We welcome applications from:
- Current high school students
- College and graduate students
- Recent graduates (within the past 2 years)
Course credit is available for qualifying students.
Time Commitment: 15–20 hours/week
Internship Focus Areas
Social Media & Storytelling
- Build and manage engaging bilingual content calendars
- Track performance and community engagement across platforms
- Research digital trends to enhance nonprofit storytelling
Grants Management
- Assist with researching and writing grant proposals
- Help track grant cycles and build funder databases
- Learn the essentials of nonprofit fundraising strategy
Events & Fundraising
- Support planning and execution of special events and donor campaigns
- Draft donor communications and thank-you letters
- Conduct donor and sponsor research
Volunteer Program Support
- Coordinate volunteer recruitment, onboarding, and appreciation events
- Maintain volunteer data and assist with impact reporting
Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English
- Academic focus or interest in Communications, Nonprofit Management, Social Work, Education, Marketing, or similar fields
- Familiarity with digital tools like Canva, Hootsuite, or social platforms
- Excellent writing, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and a collaborative team player
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office; experience with volunteer management software a plus
