Description:
We are seeking a Gaffer for La Mala, a proof-of-concept short film shooting over 3 days in the Atlanta area. The Gaffer will work closely with the DP and Key Grip to shape the visual style of the film through lighting. We’re shooting on the Panavision DXL2 with a small, focused crew.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with DP on lighting plans

Lead setup and breakdown of lighting equipment

Ensure all lighting is safe, consistent, and matches the creative vision

Qualifications:

Prior on-set experience in lighting/G&E (student or indie film experience welcome)

Comfort with fast-paced indie production environments

Professional, collaborative attitude
