
Markeing & Communications Manager
The Reno Chamber Orchestra (RCO) Marketing & Communications Manager is responsible for all RCO and Nevada Chamber Music Festival (NCMF) marketing and communications. This role reports to the Executive Director and is responsive to the RCO Music Director, NCMF Artistic Director and RCO Director of Administration.
Primary Duties:
- Facilitate RCO print, radio, and TV ads
- Maintain the RCO website
- Drive RCO social media engagement
- Write and manage RCO email blasts and direct mail campaigns
- Create graphics for RCO and NCMF events
- Coordinate design and printing of all RCO and NCMF concert programs
- Coordinate all marketing trades
- Develop annual marketing plan in line with strategic goals
- Write and coordinate press releases
- Act as primary contact for all marketing communications
- Edit and upload RCO videos
- Coordinate RCO volunteers in partnership with RCO Volunteer Coordinator
- In collaboration with Executive Director and Director of Administration, determine new season launch timetable
- In collaboration with Executive Director and Director of Administration, determine season ticket pricing
- Support development activities including annual fundraising event
- Other duties as assigned
Desired Skills:
- A combination of education and experience in marketing and communications/public relations
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
- Database experience
- Ability to work closely with a variety of staff and volunteers
- Comfortable interacting with board of directors and donors
- Strong attention to detail
- Willingness to learn new skills
- Experience working within in a non-profit setting a plus
- Background in arts/music preferred but not required
