Client: Leading Global Machinery Manufacturer
Location: Rapid City, SD (Onsite 5x/week)
Duration: 12-month contract (potential to extend)
Pay Rate:$21-25/hour W2 + Benefits (50% of Benefits provided by Swoon) $27 C2C non-probationary

Job Description:
As a 3D Game Developer, you will contribute to the creation of high-quality visual demonstrations, marketing content, and training tools. You’ll be supporting Unity or Unreal-based app development across desktop, iOS, Android, WebGL, and virtual reality platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop interactive applications using Unity or Unreal Engine
  • Use C#, C++, or other object-oriented languages to build functionality
  • Collaborate with team members, PMs, and stakeholders across multiple simultaneous projects
  • Apply strong problem-solving and communication skills to a fast-paced, feedback-driven environment
  • Contribute to version control and animation/material scripting
  • Participate in peer reviews, assessments, and mentorship/training initiatives

Qualifications (Required):

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, IT, or Engineering
  • Experience with Unity or Unreal Game Development
  • Entry-level to a few years of relevant experience
  • Proficiency in C#, C++, or similar object-oriented programming languages
  • Strong communication, attention to detail, and mechanical aptitude

Preferred Skills:

  • Demo reel, portfolio, or sample app
  • Familiarity with version control and Unity Tools
  • Knowledge of MEL, Python, Power BI, Power Automate
  • Full Stack development familiarity, including HTML/CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Angular/React

Interview Process:

  • 45-minute STAR-based technical interview
  • Post-interview take-home assessment (must be submitted on time)
  • Second-round technical interview focused on assessment review

Notes:

  • Equipment provided by client
  • Rate set to increase at 6mos
  • Role expected to open in TPL within 1 week
