Cosmetic Executive Women, Inc. (CEW) is an international organization of 9000+ thought leaders, trendsetters, and rising stars in the beauty industry with diverse backgrounds at leading brands, indies, retailers, fragrance houses, media outlets, and suppliers.

CEW’s mission is to inform and connect people in the beauty industry so they feel empowered to create and build in bold new ways.

Content Intern Job Description:

 For this internship position, one needs to have knowledge of how to work Canva for making and editing presentations and images. Having creative skills is helpful along with a good eye for imagery to find stock photos that can be used on CEW platforms. The role consists mostly of putting articles, images and affiliate links into WordPress. An understanding of Excel Spreadsheets is also necessary for compiling and maintaining PR and Contact lists. You will also need to email company contacts and put incoming content into folders which is why someone ideal for this role also has organizational and communicative skills. Familiarity of cosmetic and media trends is a plus for contributing ideas.

Responsibilities:

• Size images and input Articles into WordPress
• Edit images and make presentations on Canva
• Find stock photos for content
• Input affiliate Links on WordPress
• Find personal and pr contacts
• Make and edit Excel Spreadsheets for contacts example for PR outreach, speakers, honorees etc.
• Draft and send emails to company contacts ex: Indie 25, Invites, Nominating Committee
• Keep track of invites and responses and other feedback on projects such as nominating committee and indie 25
• Help keep track of content for projects and put this content into folders. For example, Indie Blurs, 2024 Finalist Committee
• Keep fees up to date in Monday content calendar
• Research and compile lists on information ranging from a curated news doc, brands, individuals, etc.
• Help contribute content ideas for social media
