Videographer Intern

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
We are seeking a creative and motivated photography & videography intern to work side by side with our creative and social media teams. This role is ideal for someone passionate about storytelling through visuals, with a keen eye for trends and detail. You’ll play a key part in capturing and editing engaging content for social media platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Facebook. This internship is a great opportunity to sharpen your skills in a dynamic, hands-on environment.
Our interns are required to work a minimum of 15 to 20 hours per week.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- This is a hybrid internship. Intern must be able to travel.
- Located in New Jersey or New York.
- Assist in planning, shooting, and editing photo and video content for social media
- Collaborate with the creative and strategy teams to conceptualize visual campaigns\
- Capture high-quality photos and videos of consumer packaged goods (CPG) for marketing and promotional use
- Support production shoots by assisting with on-site photo and video content creation
- Organize, label, and manage digital files to ensure efficient asset storage and retrieval
- Capture behind-the-scenes content, client events, and day-to-day agency activities
- Edit short-form video content for reels, stories, and TikToks
- Organize and maintain media libraries
- Stay current with video trends, social media best practices, and viral content formats
- Participate in content brainstorming sessions and strategy meetings
- Ability to work independently and take creative feedback constructively
REQUIREMENTS:
- You must be able to travel to and attend Photo/Video Shoots in the tri-state area***
- Must have camera equipment**
- Strong interest in photography, videography, and digital marketing
- Experience with cameras (DSLR/mirrorless) and mobile videography
- Basic knowledge of video production and editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Lightroom, or mobile editing apps (e.g., CapCut, VSCO)
- Portfolio or samples of previous photo/video work (can be personal or school projects)
- Ability to take direction and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Familiarity with major social media platforms and their content formats
- BONUS: Experience with motion graphics or animation (e.g., After Effects)
YOU WILL PARTICIPATE IN AND LEARN ABOUT...
- Capturing high-quality photos and videos across a variety of content types, including product shots, team interviews, social media content, campaign assets, and behind-the-scenes footage.
- Assisting in the planning, setup, and executing photo and video shoots—from styling products to setting up lighting and managing gear.
- Editing and retouching photos and producing engaging and on-brand video content for platforms like Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and more.
- Collaborating closely with the content, design, and marketing teams to ensure all visual content aligns with campaign goals and brand identity.
- Organizing, naming, and maintaining a well-structured digital media library to keep assets accessible and easy to find for future use.
