Marketing Assistant

The Marketing Assistant is responsible for implementing and administering various components of the franchise marketing plan with the objective of developing new connections through networking opportunities and promoting products and services. 

 

Responsibilities/Tasks

  • Complete on-site visits with apartment and senior communities, as well as real estate offices
  • Follow up with contacts from networking events 
  • Attend networking and chamber events as needed
  • Support all grassroots marketing efforts
  • Inventory and track all marketing materials for grassroots efforts and order as needed
  • Track all grassroots and lead generation efforts
  • Complete follow-up calls as necessary
  • Research new marketing opportunities as needed
  • Create content for all social channels

Education/Experience

Pursuing a degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Advertising, Business, or a related field is required. 

Previous experience in a related environment or industry is preferred.

 

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities (SKA) Required

  • General knowledge of the TWO MEN AND A TRUCK®system and practices
  • Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the Marketing field 
  • Highly creative and motivated
  • Ability to work independently 
  • Friendly, professional personality 
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills; comfortable with public speaking
  • Excellent organizational skills; must be able to multitask under time constraints
  • Must be proficient with the following Microsoft applications:
    • Word
    • Excel
    • PowerPoint
    • Publisher
    • Outlook

 

Work Environment

Work is performed in an office setting with no unusual hazards.  Some travel may be required.
