Play-by-Play Announcer

Hello,

 

We are looking for two students who are interested in working as play-by-play sports announcers for a fun live event, and this is a paid gig!

The event is a Middle School & High School Girls Softball, and it’s a great chance for students studying media, broadcasting, or sports communication to get real experience and earn some extra money.

 

Project Details:

  • Date: June 8, 2025
  • Time:
    • Field 1 – 11:20 AM to 6:00 PM
    • Field 11 – 11:20 AM to 7:40 PM
  • Location: TBD (Columbus, Ohio)

 

Scope of Work:

  • We need 2 announcers, one for each softball field.
  • Each person will provide live play-by-play commentary, describing the game in a clear, fun, and engaging way.
  • The games will be livestreamed, so families and fans can enjoy watching from home.

 

This is a Paid Job!

  • Each student will be paid for their time and work.
  • Rate and payment details can be discussed directly with interested candidates.

 

Equipment Needed:

  • Each announcer must bring their own headset microphone (with a standard 3.5mm or XLR output) that we can connect into our livestream system.
  • No other gear is needed.
  • You’ll be supported by our friendly livestream crew on-site.
