Located in the heart of downtown Nashville, The Listening Room Café is one of Music City's most iconic venues, known for delivering unforgettable live music experiences. With a focus on original songs and the writers behind them, TLR has become a go-to spot for locals, tourists, and industry professionals alike. Our unique “writer’s round” format puts the spotlight on the stories, creativity, and raw talent that fuel the music scene.

Over the years, our stage has hosted some of the biggest names in music, including ERNEST, Trisha Yearwood, Ella Langley, and countless others. There’s no place quite like TLR when it comes to capturing the magic of live performance in an intimate, one-of-a-kind setting.
 

About the Internship

We’re looking for a passionate and creative individual with experience in social media, content creation, and live content capture who’s ready to gain hands-on experience creating high-quality video, photo, and digital content that captures the energy and authenticity of our nightly shows. The ideal candidate should be comfortable shooting in live environments, proficient in editing tools Capcut and confident in creating engaging short-form content for platforms like Instagram and TikTok.
 

What You’ll Do:

• Capture video and photo content of our iconic songwriter rounds (6PM & 8:30PM shows).
  
   
• Create short-form video content (reels, TikToks, highlights) for social media.
  
   
• Edit and deliver engaging visuals that reflect the TLR brand and vibe.
  
   
• Be on-site primarily evenings during the week, with occasional weekend nights.
   

What We’re Looking For:

• A strong eye for composition, lighting, and storytelling through video.
  
   
• Experience with editing softwares (CapCut, Adobe Suite, FinalCutPro, etc.)
  
   
• A self-starter who is comfortable working in a fast-paced, live event environment.
  
   
• Passionate about music and live performance.
