Integrative Medical Center of NM is a small business in Las Cruces, NM, with a bright, new building with views of the Organ Mountains. We strive to offer the best experience for our patients. 

Hours: 8-5 Monday - Friday, except for Thursday (Noon-7 pm)

Job purpose & summary

If so, we can train you on the rest! Able to divert duties to areas of further interest (online marketing of supplements, human resources, etc.)

Preferred: Some college or college graduate, Bilingual (English & Spanish), strong writing and spelling skills.

Duties include taking vital signs (can train), preparing & organizing charts and patients for appointments, stocking exam rooms, confirming appointments, answering and routing calls, calling in prescriptions, assisting physician with procedures, and keeping charts organized.

Duties and responsibilities

· Answer phone, take phone messages and/or direct calls accordingly

· Schedule patient appointments

· Record and call in prescriptions

· Schedule medical tests, procedures and outside appointments for patients

· Maintain and manage patient records, including documenting communication/messages

· Fulfill orders for supplements

· Maintain stock of forms, supplements, and exam room supplies

· Address patient requests for information

· Complete other clerical duties as assigned

Qualifications

Education: Some college preferred.

Minimum Experience: At least one year experience in an office. Have demonstrated competency in basic computer skills. Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred. Must be detail-oriented and have strong customer service skills (pleasant demeanor, strong written and verbal communication skills, effective at problem-solving, good rapport with clients). Interest in healthcare.
