Volunteer Opportunity: Social Media Specialist
Location: Remote | Type: Volunteer | Duration: Minimum 3 months | Time Commitment: 5–7 hours/week

About Listen & Co:
Listen & Co is a community-driven doula collective dedicated to supporting birthing people and families through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. Founded by a former corporate professional turned doula, our mission is to provide culturally competent, accessible, and compassionate care—especially to families navigating Medicaid and public insurance systems.

Role Overview:
We’re seeking a Volunteer Social Media Specialist who is passionate about maternal health, storytelling, and community impact. This role will help us elevate our presence on platforms like Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn, spreading awareness about doula care, birth justice, and our growing services in New York.

What You'll Do:

Create, schedule, and manage content across social platforms

Design engaging graphics and captions aligned with our brand and mission

Grow our online community through strategic engagement

Assist with planning and executing campaigns for services, events, or advocacy work

Stay up to date on social trends related to reproductive health and maternal wellness

What We’re Looking For:

Passion for maternal health, reproductive justice, or community-based care

Experience managing or creating content for Instagram, Facebook, or LinkedIn

Basic graphic design skills (Canva or similar tools)

Strong writing and communication skills

Organized, reliable, and collaborative

A plus if you're familiar with doula work or healthcare communications
