Internship brief
We seek an intern to join our consulting team for 20-25 hours/week during the summer who has a strong work ethic, an entrepreneurial spirit and demonstrated experience and interest in conducting and analyzing quantitative market research studies. Eduvantis helps higher education institutions make data-based, strategic decisions to improve performance and increase enrollments. The ideal candidate will likely be considering a career in market research, consulting, or data analytics. They will contribute by helping conduct aspects of primary and secondary market research, researching and test-driving AI-focused market research analysis tools, creating and maintaining large data sets, assisting with daily administrative tasks, and supporting team and company initiatives. This is a fully remote internship.
Responsibilities
The following are the primary responsibilities of the internship role. If necessary, additional tasks that align with the goals/objectives of the internship not included below can be added if they support the consulting team and/or company initiatives.
Support primary and secondary market research initiatives for internal and client projects:
- Conduct aspects of primary market research, including survey programming, testing, distribution, response monitoring, quality checks, data analysis, and data visualization
- Participate in qualitative interviews and assist in theme identification
- Help conduct secondary market research for client and non-client projects
- Help create PowerPoint slides for client deliverables under the direction of senior team members
Support the management of large data sets:
- Compile survey data into internal database
- Maintain internal industry-related data sets
Assist with daily/weekly administrative tasks, including:
- Business development-related activities (e.g., entering contacts into CRM system, identifying conference opportunities, etc.)
- Responding to incoming email messages
- Formatting client-facing deliverables/reports
- Organizing project-related files/documents
- Support project and task management-related activities
Requirements
Our ideal candidate should:
- At a minimum, have completed their third year of a bachelor’s degree program in Business, Data Analytics, Marketing, Economics, Social Sciences, or other related field; Ideally, be pursuing a master’s degree in Business, Higher Education, or related field.
- Demonstrate good teamwork/collaboration skills, time management, professionalism, and attention to detail.
- Have experience creating, fielding and analyzing quantitative market research, ideally within the Qualtrics platform.
- Have strong analytic, quantitative, AI and critical thinking / problem-solving skills.
- Have strong English language skills (verbal and writing).
- Have demonstrated expertise in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word; Tableau experience a plus.
- Be a self-starter, highly motivated, and interested in utilizing and cultivating a broad range of skills; likes interesting challenges.
