About Us:
The Ella Initiative is a women-led 501(c)(3) nonprofit empowering vulnerable women across Latin America and the U.S. through AI and digital literacy education. We provide online skills training, professional development, and mental health support to equip women for the digital economy.
About the Role:
As our Grant Writing Intern, you’ll work directly with the founder to identify, draft, and submit grant applications that fund powerful, life-changing work for women and girls. This is the perfect opportunity for someone looking to build experience in the nonprofit sector who hopes to work for a foundation full-time in the future. Intern will be expected to work two to five hours per week until August 1.
Responsibilities:
- Research new grant opportunities and maintain a funding tracker
- Draft and edit compelling proposals
- Collaborate with the founder on strategy and messaging
