Why does the job exist?
Incumbent will supervise the transactions/classifications, compensation, position control, applications/recruitment, information/file maintenance and perform multi-facet HR functions for the facility providing support to Administration.
How does it get done?
Incumbent will be responsible for administering complex rules, regulations, federal and state laws providing guidance, direction and technical assistance to HR staff, NMBHI management and staff on HR issues regarding actions surrounding recruitment, classification, compensation, and position control.
Who are the customers?
Current, former and potential employees as well as other State Agency personnel.
Ideal Candidate
Ideal candidate will have:
Experience working with compensations and classifications;
Experience with recruitment and transactions;
Experience with policies and procedures;
Experience with SHARE HCM;
Customer Service skills;
Experience as a supervisor.
Minimum Qualification
Bachelor's degree in any related field and two (2) years of experience in human resource operations; recruitment, selection, payroll, compensation, and benefits administration and/or occupational analysis. Any combination of education from an accredited college or university in a related field and/or direct experience in this occupation totaling six (6) years may substitute for the required education and experience.

Must possess and maintain a valid Driver's License.
Working Conditions
Work is performed in an office setting: late hours and weekends work may be required. Will be exposed to regular periods of video display terminal and keyboard usage and stressful situations. Travel may be required. Incumbent will work under stress and frequent time constraints. Must have own mode of transportation.
