Paid Internship: Event Sales & Marketing

Pay: Weekly + Uncapped Commission

Nexus Marketing, a growing event-based marketing firm in Rochester, NY, is currently hiring Paid Sales & Marketing Interns to join our expanding team! This is an exciting opportunity for outgoing, ambitious individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in face-to-face marketing, while earning uncapped commission paid weekly.

We work with well-known clients across various industries, helping them increase their brand awareness, customer acquisition, and market reach through live events and in-person promotions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent clients at live events, trade shows, retail promotions, and pop-up campaigns across Rochester
  • Engage with customers face-to-face to promote client products/services
  • Deliver personalized, professional customer experiences that build brand loyalty
  • Assist in setting up and managing branded event displays and marketing materials
  • Generate new customer sign-ups and sales through direct interaction
  • Collaborate with the team to brainstorm marketing strategies and maximize results
  • Track campaign performance and customer feedback

What We’re Looking For:

  • Availability to work full-time and commute to our Rochester office and local event sites
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • High energy, confident, and comfortable engaging with people in busy environments
  • Self-motivated with a “can-do” attitude and a desire to grow
  • No previous experience required—training provided!
