Human Resources Intern
Neighbors Federal Credit Union is seeking a part-time Intern to join our Human Resources team to work 25 hours per week at the YMCA Plaza Branch.
Responsibilities include:
- Assisting with the NFCU recruitment process. This includes publishing requisitions, contacting and assessing applicants, communicating with candidates regarding hire process.
- Processing verifications of employment.
- Generating benefit statements.
- Maintaining employee files manually and electronically.
- Assisting HR department with assigned tasks.
Requirements/Qualifications:
- Must either be currently pursing a degree in Human Resources at an accredited college or university at a senior or graduate level and in good standing or have graduated May 2024 or later with a bachelor’s degree or higher in Human Resources.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel and Outlook) and Adobe
- Ability to exercise considerable discretion regarding confidential information
- Possess a high level of self-motivation and independent judgment
- Ability to successfully manage projects while completing day-to-day tasks in a fast paced environment
- Ability to interface effectively and build rapport with all levels of the organization
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Must be detail oriented and possess strong organizational skills
This internship is for a minimum six months with an hourly rate of $18.
