Editorial Intern — Peridot Publishing (Remote)

Peridot Publishing is seeking a passionate, detail-oriented Editorial Intern to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the world of independent publishing, working directly with our editorial team on upcoming fiction and nonfiction titles.

What You’ll Do:

• Assist with manuscript reviews and provide editorial feedback
• Support developmental and line editing processes
• Proofread marketing and promotional materials
• Conduct research on comparable titles and industry trends
• Help prepare documents for author communication and production
• Attend occasional team meetings and brainstorming sessions

What We’re Looking For:

• A strong eye for detail and a genuine love for storytelling
• Excellent writing and communication skills
• A passion for publishing and empowering authors
• Ability to manage deadlines and juggle multiple projects
• Familiarity with Google Docs and a collaborative spirit
   

Bonus Points For:

• Interest in romance, romantasy, contemporary fiction, or lifestyle nonfiction
• Experience with editing, creative writing, or book blogging
• A sense of humor and a love for good banter
