Business Development Intern

About Us -

American Tenet is at the forefront of developing an autonomous, unmanned, fixed-wing drone that can remain aloft for months without an engine. We endeavor to reach altitudes of 90,000 feet and create the world's first unmanned commercial aircraft to autonomously circumnavigate the globe with the ability to land and take off from the ocean surface. Our focus is combining cutting-edge technology while leveraging underutilized resources to deliver force-multiplying capabilities to our commercial, government civil, and defense customers. We seek a motivated and talented Business Development Intern to join our dynamic team for the summer.

Project Overview -

As a Video Content Creator Intern, you’ll video document American Tenet’s 2025 internship, showcasing the work and experiences of all 35 interns across drone development and wind tracking projects. You’ll manage video files, create and deploy social media content on LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, and TikTok (5 posts/week), produce weekly story shorts (tech updates, intern life, investment teasers), and conduct multiple interviews with each intern (sit-down and candid). Using Six Sigma tools, you’ll deliver 30-sec, 2-min, 3-min, and 5-min investment and recruiting videos, plus a year-long social media plan, to attract VCs, angels, family offices, PE groups, students, and new employee candidates.

Responsibilities -

Video record all 35 interns’ activities (daily clips, key events like 4+ hr flight tests, casual moments), producing 10+ hrs of footage/week.

Manage and organize video files for accessibility and editing.

Strong file management skills are required and knowledgeable about standard film production workflows.

Create/deploy 5 social media posts/week across LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, and TikTok, focusing on tech updates, intern life, and investment teasers.

Produce/direct multiple weekly story shorts (e.g., 30-seconds to 2 min each), starting Week 2, deployed on YouTube and LinkedIn.

Interview each intern multiple times (sit-down at start/end, candid during work, ~5-10 min each), capturing their journey.

Edit footage into investment videos (30-sec, 2-min, 3-min, 5-min) for VCs/angels/family offices/PE groups and recruiting videos (30-sec, 2-min, 3-min, 5-min) for students/new hires.

Present a Week 1 project plan with a Gantt Chart of dependencies/milestones for the 7-week execution phase.

Deliver a year-long social media plan (monthly tasks) by Week 8 to sustain content post-internship.

Provide weekly updates to James Oleen and final videos to CEO/COO, using Pareto Charts to prioritize engagement.

Qualifications -

Pursuing a degree in Radio, Television, and Film or a related field.

Proficiency in video production/editing (e.g., Adobe Premiere, Final Cut, CapCut, Camtasia) and social media analytics (e.g., Canva for graphics).

Strong storytelling skills with experience in multi-platform content creation.

Familiarity with Six Sigma tools (e.g., Gantt Chart, Pareto Chart) or willingness to learn.

Creative, proactive, and able to work independently and collaboratively; training provided on tools as needed.

Benefits -

Hands-on experience producing impactful videos for a cutting-edge tech startup.

Mentorship from American Tenet advisors, with training in video editing and content strategy.

Access to DSLR camera, tripod, lavalier mics, hard drives, Adobe Suite, Camtasia, Snagit, Canva, and MS Teams.

Strong potential for future full-time positions with the company.
