Position Overview
We are looking for a talented Roblox Developer to help us design and build a multiplayer Roblox experience that aligns with our mission to engage and inspire children aged 6–12. The ideal candidate is passionate about creating interactive, educational, and fun experiences within the Roblox platform.
Responsibilities
- Develop and script a fully functional multiplayer Roblox game using Roblox Studio and Lua.
- Collaborate with our curriculum and camp teams to ensure the game supports child-centric design and learning goals.
- Integrate educational STEM concepts in a playful, engaging way.
- Handle server-side and client-side scripting for real-time gameplay.
- Optimize performance and ensure a smooth experience for users across devices.
- Troubleshoot and fix bugs as needed during development and testing.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Roblox Studio and Lua scripting.
- Experience creating and publishing multiplayer games on Roblox.
- Strong understanding of game logic, UI/UX, and networked gameplay.
- Ability to work independently and communicate clearly in a remote environment.
- Passion for education, kids, and building games that make learning exciting!
Nice to Have
- Experience working with kids or educational game design.
- A portfolio of completed Roblox games, especially multiplayer ones.
