We are seeking a creative, tech-savvy, and detail-oriented Website & Content Developer to join our team. This multifaceted role blends web development and content creation with product storytelling. You’ll play a key role in shaping our online presence, communicating our mission, and supporting product launches through compelling digital experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Website Development & Maintenance
    • Manage, update, and optimize our website for performance, accessibility, and user experience (UX).
    • Collaborate with design and marketing teams to build new pages and enhance functionality.
    • Ensure mobile responsiveness, SEO best practices, and integration with e-commerce or CRM platforms.
  • Content Creation
    • Write and edit website copy, blog posts, product descriptions, and customer stories.
    • Create engaging content aligned with brand tone, mission, and seasonal campaigns.
    • Source, edit, and publish images, videos, and graphics to support web and social content.
  • Product Development Collaboration
    • Work closely with the product team to gather insights, develop launch content, and support storytelling for new and existing products.
    • Help translate artisan stories and handmade processes into compelling digital narratives.
  • Analytics & Optimization
    • Monitor website and content performance using tools like Google Analytics or Hotjar.
    • Recommend and implement improvements based on user behavior and campaign goals.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in website development (e.g., WordPress, Shopify, Squarespace, or custom platforms).
  • Strong writing and editing skills with an eye for compelling storytelling and clean UX copy.
  • Familiarity with SEO, web analytics, and responsive design.
  • Proficiency in basic graphic editing tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or Figma).
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, work cross-functionally, and meet deadlines.
  • Bonus: experience working with handmade products, artisan brands, or social impact organizations.
