Content Research & Interview Intern

This is not your typical summer internship. You’ll be on the front lines of a national research and publishing project, helping us uncover the stories, strategies, and secrets of real estate investors who are thriving in various niches. That includes everything from mobile home parks and short-term rentals to syndications and creative finance.

What You’ll Do:

Research and Vet Interview Subjects
Identify and evaluate real estate investors with compelling stories and track records using online research, social media, podcasts, and referrals. We have a working list with dozens to approach and a few who have already agreed to speak with us. 

Conduct Interviews
Schedule and conduct Zoom or email interviews or with selected investors. You’ll ask smart questions, follow your curiosity, and extract meaningful insights that readers will love.

Summarize & Structure Profiles
Use AI (and your own writing skills) to transform interviews into clear, engaging profiles that will be included in the book. As long as you're not copy/pasting from ChatGPT, etc., we don't mind you using AI tools like the rest of us in the real world.

Collaborate with a Published Author
Work closely with the author (a multiple-time bestseller) and editorial team to refine interviews and ensure every story pops.

You’re a Good Fit If You:

  • Are curious, conversational, and confident talking to strangers
  • Have an interest in real estate, personal finance, or business storytelling
  • Write clearly and can synthesize ideas into clean copy (with AI tools as backup)
  • Are self-directed, organized, and comfortable working remotely
  • Have a nose for a good story and a desire to be part of something people will read for years
