Human Resources Manager

We are looking for an experienced, motivated, enthusiastic, and highly organized person to lead our daily human resources department and the day-to-day functions including staff recruitment and hiring, payroll, benefits, and leave, and enforcing company policies and practices. Primary responsibilities of this full-time, exempt position will include: 

*Provide support and guidance and training to HR generalist and supervisors to enforce policies and procedures, address employee needs, and performance management.

*Oversee staff recruitment and onboarding processes, including job description development, interviewing, orientation, training, etc. 

*Respond to employee requests for workplace accommodations, leaves, complaints, etc. 

*Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; review policies and practices to maintain compliance and maintain knowledge of trends and laws.

*Partner with benefit brokers and vendors to manage employee benefits, recommend changes, and oversee day to day processing and management of employee benefits, education and communication. 

*Maintain compensation policies and procedures, conduct market research, recommend changes. 

*Maintain workplace health and safety policies and procedures, including report of workplace injury, worker’s compensation claims, OSHA reporting, etc. 

*Oversee management of payroll, HRIS, employee personnel information. 

Starting salary range is $58,656-$73,320 annually and includes a comprehensive benefits package, including paid holidays, PTO, health/dental/life insurance, employee assistance and 403b retirement savings match. Position eligible for hybrid work arrangement. We also invest in employee wellness and professional development!

Qualifications:

*Bachelor’s degree in human resources, or related field and two years’ experience OR combination of equivalent education and experience. SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP highly desired.

*Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.

*Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

*Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to prioritize and delegate.

*Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.

*Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, payroll, HRIS software systems.
