Located in Easton, PA, we're now on the lookout for a HR Intern to join our HR team to assist with the growth of our company. Reporting to the HR Director and HR Generalist, this is a great opportunity for someone who is currently studying HR or Business Administration, to break into the HR field to accelerate their professional development in HR and gain rewarding, practical experience. 

Tasks and Responsibilities 

As the HR Intern, your role will be to assist the HR team with supporting the people strategy across the organization through various functions. Main responsibilities include:

  • Support administration, coordination and application of company-wide human resource policies, procedures, and practices.
  • Support management and assist in talent acquisition for several dealerships.
  • Ensuring compliance with background checks, pre-employment screening process and collecting all necessary documentation from candidates.
  • Assists with orientation and other HR trainings.
  • Audit, correct and update all personnel files to maintain compliance.
  • Partner with HR Team to support and administer HR processes.
  • Maintain HR records both hard copy and in HRIS systems, ensuring all appropriate systems accurately reflect data.
  • Works with the HR team to maintain effective compliance training programs: new employee orientation and annual training
  • Follow Policies to ensure all information remains strictly confidential.
  • Performs necessary clerical functions (correspondence, filing, faxing, etc.)
  • Performs and assists with other duties/grad project as assigned and agreed with university guidelines.

With both administrative and operational activities, this is a hands-on role that will help our team drive our company culture and values.

  • Degree qualified or currently completing study in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Sound analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively as part of a dynamic team
  • Strong organization skills including advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
