Front Desk Job at Miami Beach Tennis Center

COME WORK IN A FUN, TEAM-ORIENTED ENVIRONMENT...THE MIAMI BEACH TENNIS CENTER!!

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Handles incoming phone calls and other communications
  • Greets clients and visitors
  • Sell lessons, clinics, and kids tennis classes
  • Books tennis lessons in Court Reserve system
  • Helps organize and maintain office areas
  • Coordinates events as necessary

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE

  • BASIC KNOWLEDGE OF THE SPORT OF TENNIS
  • Prior sales and customer service experience
  • Possess effective multi-tasking and organizational abilities
  • Basic bookkeeping and record-keeping understanding
  • Ability to prioritize assignments and complete them on time
  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and customer service focus
  • Warm personality with strong communication skills
  • Ability to monitor and use office equipment and materials (computers, printers, fax, etc)

REQUIREMENTS

  • High school diploma or associate's degree
  • Experience as an office assistant or in related field
  • Experience in customer service
  • Valid driver's license
  • Must pass a City of Miami Beach background check
  • Must pass a City of Miami Beach drug screening test
  • Flexibility to work nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime
  • 3 employer or personal recommendations
  • Effective communication skills to deal with co-workers and clients
  • Ability and initiative to make decisions with little supervision and good judgment
  • Ability to react quickly and calmly in emergency situations

Part-Time Salary: $18 - $20/hour

Needed Hours: Weekdays (open or close)/Weekends (open or close) {Mandatory}
