Dockhand

Location: McKinley Marina, Downtown Milwaukee
Pay: $18 per hour plus tips
Hours: 10-15 hours per week, with Saturday availability and various times during the week required.

Position Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Dockhand to join our boat rental team at McKinley Marina. The ideal candidate will have a passion for boating, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to operate and maintain our fleet of rental boats.

Key Responsibilities:

• Check in and assist customers upon their arrival.
• Provide information about boat rentals, safety protocols, and operating instructions.
• Operate our boats as needed to obtain gas and assist customers
• Clean and maintain boats after each rental, ensuring they are ready for the next customers.
• Respond to customer inquiries and provide an outstanding rental experience.

Qualifications:

• Previous boating experience driving power boats is required.
• A valid boating license is required if born after January 1, 1989.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work outdoors and in varying weather conditions.
• Commitment to safety and attention to detail.
• Availability on Saturdays and flexibility to work various shifts during the week.
