Remote Summer Intern - Social Media Content Editor

Location: Remote | Schedule: Mondays & Fridays (2 hours/day)
Compensation: $15/hour | Duration: Summer 2025

Position Overview
We’re looking for a detail-oriented and creative Remote Summer Intern to support our marketing team. You will review and refine social media graphics and captions created by our contractors, ensure brand consistency, and schedule posts using our SocialBee platform.

This is a great opportunity to gain real-world experience in nonprofit communications, content editing, and digital strategy execution.

Key Responsibilities

Review and edit social media graphics and copy for clarity, tone, and brand alignment

Collaborate with external contractors to provide constructive feedback on content revisions

Upload and schedule finalized content on SocialBee for timely posting

Participate in weekly team check-ins and provide brief progress updates

Maintain consistency in visual and written messaging across all social channels

Qualifications

Currently enrolled in a college or university program (Marketing, Communications, PR, or related field preferred)

Strong proofreading and editing skills

Familiarity with Canva or similar design platforms

Comfortable using or learning SocialBee and other content scheduling tools

Self-starter with strong attention to detail and time management skills

Must be available Mondays and Fridays for 4 hours per day

Required to attend mandatory team meetings every Friday at 8:00 AM (CST)

Compensation: $15 per hour | 10 hours per week
