Position Information:
This position provides technical support for all aspects of personnel services and employee relations for the District's non-supervisory certificated staff. This position serves as subject matter expert for leaves of absences by ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Additionally, this role supports HR Leadership in administering the staffing processes, including layoffs, reductions in force, and recalls of certificated employees.
Shift Details: 8 hours a day; 260 day calendar
Continuing Position: Employees have reasonable assurance of continued employment to the following school year. However, an employee's total work hours and the designated beginning and ending times may vary.
FLSA Status: Exempt
Hourly Rate: $54.22 per hour (Based on 2024-2025 Professional - Technical Employee Salary Schedule)
Position Type/Level: Professional - Technical Employee Level G
Required Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
- Associate’s degree in Business, Human Resources or related field; and,
- Three (3) years of work experience in a senior administrative/confidential support position.
* Human Resources may consider work experience, certification equivalency, and continuing education as an alternative to the degree when assessing this required qualification.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting labor relations and/or employee relations in a unionized environment is preferred.
- Fluency in more than one language is preferred (multilingual).
