Junior Web Developer / Technology Assistant (Hybrid – South Florida)

 

About the Role:

Ultra Music Festival is hiring a junior developer and technical assistant to support web development, reporting, and platform operations across our global brand portfolio. You’ll work closely with our Director of Technology to contribute to real production projects while gaining hands-on experience with web platforms and technical systems.

 

This is a full-time hybrid position based in South Florida. Candidates must be able to commute to Downtown Miami 2–3 days per week.

 

What You’ll Work On:

  • Update and maintain WordPress-based websites
  • Assist with frontend enhancements and backend edits
  • Create and support dashboards, reports, and analytics workflows
  • Help with testing, QA, documentation, and technical operations

 

Technologies You’ll Use:

  • Web: PHP, WordPress, Typescript/JavaScript, HTML, CSS
  • Reporting & Tooling: Python, SQL, spreadsheets, automation tools
  • Infrastructure: Git, command-line tools, CMS admin panels

 

You Should Have:

  • Hands-on experience with PHP and WordPress (coursework or personal projects welcome)
  • Solid HTML/CSS skills and a working knowledge of JavaScript
  • Interest in technical problem solving, reporting, and QA
  • At least one project or website you can walk us through

 

Bonus Skills:

  • Exposure to AI tools or automation workflows
  • Interest or experience in crypto/web3 technologies
