Camp IHC Camper Media Specialist

Camp IHC, a premier 7-week sleepaway summer camp, is seeking an enthusiastic and creative Camper Media Specialist to join our media team. This unique role focuses on inspiring the next generation of content creators by teaching campers the fundamentals of photo, video, and podcast production.
Working closely with the Media Director and other specialists, the Camper Media Specialist will lead engaging, hands-on sessions designed to develop campers’ technical skills and storytelling abilities. This includes teaching camera operation, basic editing (Adobe Premiere Pro), podcast recording, and guiding campers through the full creative process.
The ideal candidate is not only technically proficient but also passionate about working with children and fostering a fun, supportive learning environment. Experience with media equipment (especially DSLR or mirrorless cameras), editing software, and youth mentorship is essential.
