Hourly Web Designer (WordPress & UX/UI) for Nonprofit Organization

Budget: $3,000–$4,000 annually (Hourly Rate Negotiable)

Hours: As needed (Estimated 3-5+ hours/month for maintenance, plus occasional custom projects) Assume ~75-100 hours per year.

About Us:
Gratitude Network (www.gratitude-network.org) is a nonprofit accelerator that supports social impact leaders working to improve the lives of children worldwide. We’re looking for an experienced WordPress UX/UI Web Designer to provide hourly, on-demand support to maintain and enhance our nonprofit website.

Scope of Work:
• Monthly Website Maintenance: Perform plugin updates, security checks, and basic troubleshooting (estimated 1–2 hours/month).
• UX/UI Design & Enhancements: Improve website functionality and user experience as needed.
• Custom Development: Implement custom updates, new features, or design tweaks within our WordPress theme and Gutenberg site builder.
• Performance Optimization: Ensure the site remains fast, secure, and user-friendly.
• Occasional Consulting: Provide recommendations on best practices for site improvements, accessibility, and usability.

Ideal Candidate Should Have:
✔ Proven Experience in WordPress Development & UX/UI Design
✔ Strong Proficiency in WordPress Gutenberg Site Builder
✔ Experience with Custom Themes & Plugins
✔ HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP Skills
✔ Experience Working with Nonprofits (Preferred but Not Required)
✔ Detail-Oriented Approach to Maintenance & Updates
✔ Ability to Provide Quick Turnaround on Requests
