Marketing and Community Outreach Representative

The Marketing and Community Outreach Representative at Ellenville Regional Hospital plays a vital role in promoting our healthcare services and fostering strong relationships within the community. This position is responsible for planning, coordinating, and attending various community events and health fairs to raise awareness about the hospital's programs and services. The representative will collaborate with local organizations, businesses, and leaders to develop positive relationships and effectively communicate the hospital's offerings. Additionally, the role involves assisting with the development and execution of marketing strategies, distributing promotional materials, and tracking the impact of outreach activities. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, organized, and passionate about enhancing the health and well-being of our community.

Key Responsibilities:

Community Outreach:

  • Plan, coordinate, and attend community events, health fairs, and other outreach activities to promote the hospital’s services and programs.
  • Coordinate and set up information tables, booths, and displays at various community events.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with community organizations, businesses, and local leaders.
  • Distribute educational materials and provide information about hospital services to community members.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to develop outreach strategies and promotional materials.
  • Track and report on outreach activities and community feedback.
  • Assist in organizing and facilitating community health education workshops and seminars.
  • Represent Ellenville Regional Hospital with professionalism and enthusiasm.

Marketing:

  • Assist in development and implementation of marketing strategies to promote the hospital services.
  • Distribute marketing materials including brochures, flyers and social media content.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute campaigns that align with community outreach efforts.
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing and outreach activities.

Work Schedule:

  • Part Time .4FTE
  • Flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field preferred.
  • Previous experience in community outreach, marketing, or public relations, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexible schedule, with the ability to work evenings and weekends as needed.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and social media platforms.
  • Ability to engage diverse community members and build lasting relationships.
  • Knowledge of healthcare services and community health issues is a plus.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.

Salary Description

$22.00 per hour
