Events & Programs Intern - Fall 2025 - Pensacola FL

INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITY

Rally Foundation was started by a simple, yet powerful question from one mother to another,

Rally’s mission is to empower volunteers across the country to raise awareness and funds for childhood cancer research to find better treatments, with fewer long-term side effects, and, ultimately, cures.

Overview:

We are seeking an organized and energetic student pursuing a career in nonprofit, event production, hospitality, marketing, project management or similar field. The candidate must be committed to Rally’s mission and have a desire to serve our supporters and volunteers with compassion, and integrity. This fast-paced, multi-faceted opportunity is for a candidate who wants to work hard and gain experience in a nonprofit setting.

Selected interns will have the opportunity to gain valuable experiences in the area(s) of: business and non-profit management; development and fundraising; marketing & PR; logistics; social media; professionalism; and community relations. Students currently enrolled towards a degree in the following areas are strongly encouraged to apply: Business, Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, Public Administration, Social Work, Hospitality or other related areas of Human Sciences.

Our stipend and credited internship program is an immersive experience that last up to twelve weeks, averaging 15-20 hours per week. In office work on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Attendance at our special events is required. Additional in-office, or remote days might also be necessary. 

 

THIS INTERNSHIP CAN BE CONSIDERED FOR COURSE CREDIT BASED ON THE REQUIREMENTS OF YOUR DEGREE PROGRAM. A $500 STIPEND WILL BE AVAILABLE IN ADDITION TO COURSE CREDIT.

Necessary Skills Include:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects
  • Strong organizational and research skills
  • An ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team
  • Computer literacy (Microsoft Office)
  • Some Social Media Experience on all major platforms
  • Professional demeanor and attire appropriate
  • Eagerness to learn
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Available a minimum of 15 hours per week, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays in the Pensacola Office.

Rally offers customized internships based on the individual’s academic and career goals, as well as availability.

Opportunities:

  • Signature Events: Assist with auction coordination, guest lists, mailings, vendor communications and logistics.
  • 4 Quarters for Research change collection program: assist with programs, outreach, help identify participants, mailings, thank you letters and follow ups.
  • Community Partners: Assist in identifying prospects, comfortable with communicating the missions, marketing design, social requests, and attending events.
  • Peer-to-peer fundraising campaigns: Assist with tracking progress, communicating with participants, incentive fulfillment, thank you notes, and social media requests.
  • Volunteer Program: Assist in volunteer recruitment and management for our in person events and projects. Organize lists, and communicate post event.
  • Office Support: Organizing inventories and work spaces, filing and organizing electronic documents, thank you letters and mailings.
