Quite Possibly the Coolest Job Ever - Local Operations Lead (Path to Ownership)

TL;DR

How ‘bout we skip right ahead to the center of the tootsie-pop? We're a small, but growing business, and we are looking for new business developers to help us grow even faster.

We are biased — but we are pretty sure we are the coolest place to work for, ever. And we really believe that we are changing the world (you will see what we mean when you check out our website!). Honestly, the job is not all roses and puppy dogs — there is some good news and there is some bad news.

Let’s get the bad news out of the way first:

This is a labor-intensive job--you'll be moving and recruiting people to move. It's hard work. Now let’s talk about the good stuff:

1. The work is fun, fresh, and you'll meet a lot of people. You will be working with an awesome team of fellow university students, which you help build!

2. We aren’t big on stress. So, while we will expect you to work efficiently and get things done, we focus on open communication and getting things done right the first go around.

3. The hours are flexible. We work with your schedule to get a routine that works for you. Three long days a week best for you? No problem. Rather work mid-morning until mid-afternoon? Cool, we can do that too.

4. You can get involved with a whole load of different things with our small business. Want to help with Marketing? Business? Event planning? Operations? HR? You'll probably dabble in all of that.

5. You don’t need to be skilled at bowling, ax throwing, or laser tag (Although, you will likely be doing all of those things). Every few months we do something fun or goofy or both as a team.

6. You don't have to hate your life to make good money! On moves we pay $20/hr plus tips and believe me the tips are incredible. Our average customer increases wages by $9/hr meaning you'll be making an average of $29/hr. Oh and the biggest thing--if you do a great job, after the summer we will hand this business off to you. Which means that you're not just building someone else's business, your building access to your own source financial freedom

Now, let’s talk about the job requirements:

  1. You have to have solid communication skills
  2. As we said at the beginning, there will be some heavy lifting, so you must be able to lift at least 50 pounds
  3. Possess the ability to work in a team setting
  4. You need to be a person who loves to deliver remarkable experiences to other people. You know, you need to be someone who feels good by making other people feel good.
  5. We want you to be a real go-getter. We are looking for a good, fun person, who gets shit done. (Oh and we occasionally swear...not much...but sometimes a joke is only funny with an F-bomb).
  6. You need to want more from life than just a lame 9-5. We want people who desire more from life. People that want to build their own financial freedom so they can go do cool shit. Like live in the Phillipines for a winter, or backpack Europe for a month, explore and enjoy nature.

In short, your job is to provide incredible experiences for our clients, great opportunities to your peers, and have fun.

Our company is casual, but we do expect professionalism, punctuality, and transparency.

But what we don’t expect is perfection or existing skills for you to qualify for this job. We can teach you that.

We expect intelligence, energy, and a get-it-done attitude. When you have questions, you will find the answers with a quick call to Collin or anyone else on our team.

If this is a job that gets you so excited that you would even do it for free, we would totally accept that offer from you. But if you prefer compensation (and we totally get it...we prefer getting paid as well) this is what we offer: pay on moves, 10% profit, and an opportunity to build residual income and financial freedom waiting at the end of the summer.

We are looking to bring our new colleagues on board as soon as possible, but we will spend the necessary time to find the best fit both in abilities and culture. One thing that will give you a BIG leg up (but is optional) is to send a quick Loom video along with your email and send it directly to Collin@unimovers.com. In your video tell us why you think you’re perfect for this job and why you will rock this position. This is purely for us to get a sense of your personality. And if you decide not to send a video (that’s ok), still email us, and tell us why you chose not to send in a video.

We can’t wait to meet you!!!
