Rental Staff
Job Title: Rental Staff
Reports to: Rental Coordinator
Job overview: As the representative of the Marquette Regional History Center during a rental of the Rydholm Gathering Hall, the Rental Staff will accommodate the guests in the facility while assuring the safety of the museum.
Responsibilities / Duties:
- Meet and greet the authorized representative for the event. Go over details of the event contract. Be familiar with the timeline for the evening.
- Perform a walk-through of the building several times during the event.
- Attend to restrooms: replace toilet paper, remove trash, etc.
- Watch for contract compliance with renters.
- Handle all emergencies as trained.
- Upon completion of the event, review the check list and lock down the building.
Hours:
- Part-time / seasonal
- Typically Saturdays only during May – December (occasional other days)
- 3:00 pm – 7:00 pm or 7:00 pm – 12:00 am / 12:30 pm
Qualifications:
- High School graduate
- Confident demeanor
- Security experience a plus
- This position requires walking, bending over, and the ability to lift 25 lbs. or more
