Sales Development Intern

Position Overview

As a Sales Development Intern, you'll play a crucial role in our sales process by making outbound calls to potential clients and scheduling product demonstrations. This position offers valuable hands-on experience in B2B sales and provides a foundation for a potential career in sales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Make outbound sales calls to potential clients (20-25 calls per day)
  • Identify decision-makers within target companies
  • Follow established scripts to introduce our product/service
  • Address initial questions and objections
  • Schedule product demonstrations with qualified prospects
  • Update CRM with contact information and interaction details
  • Collaborate with the sales team to refine outreach strategies
  • Track and report on weekly call metrics and demo bookings

Qualifications

  • Strong verbal communication skills and phone presence
  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude and persistence
  • Basic understanding of sales concepts
  • Ability to listen well and respond appropriately to customer needs
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with basic office software and willingness to learn CRM tools
