
Sales Development Intern
Position Overview
As a Sales Development Intern, you'll play a crucial role in our sales process by making outbound calls to potential clients and scheduling product demonstrations. This position offers valuable hands-on experience in B2B sales and provides a foundation for a potential career in sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Make outbound sales calls to potential clients (20-25 calls per day)
- Identify decision-makers within target companies
- Follow established scripts to introduce our product/service
- Address initial questions and objections
- Schedule product demonstrations with qualified prospects
- Update CRM with contact information and interaction details
- Collaborate with the sales team to refine outreach strategies
- Track and report on weekly call metrics and demo bookings
Qualifications
- Strong verbal communication skills and phone presence
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude and persistence
- Basic understanding of sales concepts
- Ability to listen well and respond appropriately to customer needs
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with basic office software and willingness to learn CRM tools
