Grant Writing and Fundraising Strategy Opportunity

Transnational immigrant choreographer, curator, and hybrid performance artist Alice Gosti is seeking a grant writer to support individual artist applications and grant opportunities for her multi-disciplinary dance and performance ensemble MALACARNE, a fiscally sponsored project of Fractured Atlas.

Duties include:

• Researching project grants, general operating support grants, residencies, fellowships, and awards
• Writing applications, reviewing budgets and work samples
• Updating the grant calendar and tracking report deadlines
• Supporting development and fundraising strategy
• Copywriting for MALACARNE’s spring fundraiser and other fundraising opportunities

Time commitment:
8–30 hours per month

Compensation:
$320–$1,200/month ($40/hr)

Ideal candidate:

Has a proven track record in grant writing

• Is organized and detail-oriented
• Is a clear communicator
• Is self-motivated and proactive in identifying new grant opportunities and strategies
• Is excited to learn about dance, theater, and performance (if not already familiar)
• Can collaborate on submitting and tracking reports, including annual Fractured Atlas reports, with Alice Gosti and MALACARNE’s creative producer
