Senior Scheduler

About the Role: 

We are seeking a Senior Scheduler to join our dynamic team, specializing in commercial and industrial construction projects. This senior-level role will either lead scheduling efforts on large-scale commercial projects or manage the full scope of scheduling on smaller projects. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver with a deep understanding of planning, scheduling, and cost analysis within the construction industry. 

Responsibilities: 

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules in collaboration with project teams and trade partners. 

• Assemble and analyze project information to create clear, actionable planning and scheduling documents. 

• Create conceptual schedules with minimal input for team review and refinement. 

• Maintain databases of probable schedule durations by activity and overall project timelines. 

• Monitor project timelines against baselines; provide regular status updates, forecasts, and reports. 

• Analyze and update design deliverables, procurement timelines, and construction progress. 

• Review Vendor and Subcontractor schedule updates for accuracy and alignment with actual progress. 

• Support project managers and discipline leads with performance tracking and scheduling insights. 

• Recommend corrective action plans and mitigation strategies to keep projects on schedule. 

• Participate in internal and external meetings to present scheduling data and project progress. 

• Perform other duties as requested by project leadership.

Requirements: 

• 7–10 years of experience in industrial or commercial construction scheduling.

 • Proven experience using Primavera P6 and ERP cost management tools. 

• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and other scheduling-related software. 

• Well-rounded knowledge of various construction disciplines and industry workflows. 

• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. 

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. 

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or Business Administration preferred. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Experience with 3D modeling tools to support schedule visualization. 

• Familiarity with logistics planning and field execution strategy. 

• Ability to lead collaborative planning sessions and interact with stakeholders at all levels.
