Social Media Manager

Columbia Crossings is home to Portland’s largest marinas. We are proud to provide boaters with the area’s finest moorage facilities and easiest access to the excitement of boating on the Columbia River. Our friendly, professional staff provides exceptional customer service and maintains a clean, safe, and secure environment for you and your family to enjoy your boating experience and the variety of our facilities.

What You’ll Do:
We’re looking for someone who can help tell our story and connect us more deeply with our customers and community. You’ll be our go-to for:

  • Creating thoughtful, relevant, and engaging social media content
  • Regularly posting updates, photos, and stories on Instagram and Facebook
  • Writing and updating posts for our website's blog
  • Highlighting upcoming events, regattas, specials, and marina life
  • Engaging with our network of boaters, clubs, restaurants, boat rental companies, and fishing guides
  • Attracting new people to our marinas, especially from underrepresented or untapped demographics
  • Building our social media following and helping convert online interest into real-world action

What We’re Looking For:

  • A creative communicator who gets what makes communities thrive
  • Someone who knows their way around Instagram, Facebook, and other platforms
  • An interest in outdoor lifestyles, boating, or waterfront culture is a plus
  • Bonus if you’ve got experience writing blog posts, creating reels/stories, or managing small businesses’ social media accounts

Compensation:
Pay is competitive and dependent on results. If your content helps us grow our audience and create meaningful engagement and conversions, you’ll have the chance to earn additional compensation based on performance.
