Responsibilities:

  • Playtest mobile games in various development stages to identify bugs, glitches, and performance issues.
  • Provide detailed feedback on gameplay mechanics, user experience, and overall game balance.
  • Document and report issues to developers using bug-tracking software.
  • Test different devices and operating systems to ensure compatibility and smooth performance.
  • Analyze game difficulty, controls, and in-game economy to provide improvement suggestions.
  • Collaborate with the development team to ensure a polished final product before launch.

Qualifications:

  • Passion for mobile gaming and familiarity with various game genres.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to spot inconsistencies in gameplay.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for clear bug reporting.
  • Willingness to learn bug-tracking tools like Jira, Trello, or TestRail.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Previous beta testing or quality assurance (QA) experience is a bonus but not required.
