Machine Learning Engineer
Machine Learning Engineer
Equity-Only | Remote (Pacific Time) | Build ML that moves the music industry
CreateBase is building the next-generation music rights infrastructure—where metadata, royalties, and ownership tracking work like they should. At the core of this? Clean data. Smart automation. And applied machine learning.
We’re looking for a Machine Learning Engineer to help us weaponize messy rights data into structured, actionable intelligence. You’ll work directly with the founding team to build real-time ML systems that power royalties recovery and IP registration at scale.
This is an early, equity-only role—with cash compensation coming post-raise. It’s a rare opportunity to shape the ML foundation of a product already making waves in music tech.
What You’ll Work On
Build and deploy ML models for entity resolution, metadata matching, and data deduplication
Fine-tune and integrate LLMs for rights metadata extraction, natural language matching, and workflow automation
Design and optimize vector search + embedding pipelines (e.g. Pinecone, Weaviate, or Supabase Vector)
Work with large messy datasets—music credits, DSP metadata, ISRCs, PRO databases—and clean them with AI
Collaborate across product and engineering to make ML outputs visible, usable, and reliable in production
Requirements
3–6+ years full stack backend experience with machine learning in production environments
Strong Python skills with real-world experience in NLP, transformers, and vector databases
Hands-on experience with OpenAI, HuggingFace, LangChain, LangGraph, or similar LLM tooling
Experience on ML frameworks, ML compiler, or modern ML system architectures and heterogeneous runtime systems/ML inference/serving engine.
Familiarity with Supabase, Postgres, Vercel, and modern infra workflows
M.S. or PhD in CS, EE, Deep Learning or a related field.
Bonus: Experience with music metadata, fintech data, or rights-related data structures
If you love turning complex data into smart systems, and you want to shape the way the music industry works—this is your shot.
