Role Description:

We are looking for a product management intern with a strong passion for community building and technology! In this role, you'll help shape the next generation of Demystifyd features — tools that directly help international students and immigrant professionals thrive in the U.S

Reporting to the CEO, you will play a role in driving growth and awareness for the company by supporting the development of new product features. The successful candidate will work on optimizing our AI-driven features, such as the Demystifyd AI job finder and our smart user-to-user connections, while developing exciting new product features.

 

In this role, you will:

  • Collaborate with the leadership and software team on developing and executing new product features for Demystifyd's platform.
  • Perform competitive and market research to inform the product design process.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to turn user feedback, data, and ideas into actionable feature specs and user stories that drive monetization.
  • Contribute to our AI product strategy and roadmap planning based on insights from real users.
  • Manage cross-functional communications and public relations initiatives between Demystifyd and its valued partners.

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • Working towards a BS/MS in Business/Marketing, UI/UX Design, Cognitive Science, Computer Science, or other related fields.
  • Experience in feature wireframing and market research
  • Familiarity with MS Office products, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and outstanding communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and enthusiastic about learning new skills.

  • Demonstrating deep critical thinking in your application answers.
  • A personal story or passion for immigrant, international student, or community-based issues.
  • Having some Web/UX design experience.
  • Having some data analysis skills in MS Excel (or Python, R, etc).
  • Demonstrating experience in using Data Analytics for product marketing purposes.
