Description
This position is a full-time position, focused between Assistant Buyer and Sales Associate roles. As Assistant Buyer, you support the Buying Team’s mission to maintain proper inventory and stock levels across our growing omni-channel company, including physical store locations and several digital channels. As a Sales Associate, you represent the business between one or both of our retail locations, offering impeccable customer service and helping us reach our physical sales goals. Attention to detail, the desire to create a memorable customer experience, and a commitment to accuracy while thriving in a fast paced environment is key for success in this position.
Responsibilities
- Manage Inventory
- Monitor new arrivals and make sure they are accurately reflected across all sales channels
- Responsible for accurately tracking store transfers and executing transfers between store locations
- “Tag” products to align with SKU organization and reporting needs as outlined by Buyer
- Create product copy in line with the brand’s standards
- Maintain accurate costs of goods and inventory counts for new and existing products
- Ensure SKUs created align with product tags used in stores
- Edit, maintain, and publish product photography for all SKUs
- Take original detailed photography of all pre-owned items that arrive in store and edit to align with website imagery and highlight each item’s uniqueness
- Coordinate and execute on-figure photos and videos of every item
- Attach brand photographs to all contemporary goods and make available for sale online
- Conduct sales floor responsibilities as outlined by Store Manager
- Perform and execute all elements of retail operation per brand guidelines/protocols, including opening and closing procedures
- Create a memorable shopping experience for our clientele and work to position our brand as a leader in the luxury handbag market
- Maximize in-store presence to meet sales goals through store presentation, product knowledge, and customer relationships
- Act as an ambassador of the brand by building a client base and developing relationships
- Initiate sales through the development of a client database of preferences and expressed retail needs/wants, including but not limited to utilization of wishlist
- Manage customer service-related questions as they arise in store, via phone, or as delegated by manager with professionalism and a positive attitude
- Elevate customer service issues to Manager as needed
- Assist Store Manager in executing in store events

This is a full time, in person position with designated Assistant Buyer office days and Sales Associate floor days.
