### Position Overview
This is a **100% remote, 100% flexible internship position** supporting our Purpose Discovery Specialist team. Interns can receive academic credit, volunteer, or potentially earn a stipend based on contribution level. The internship provides hands-on experience in developing innovative approaches connecting individuals to their purpose, with focus on neurodivergent learners.
### Key Responsibilities
**Curriculum Support**
- Assist in developing purpose-centered teaching strategies, particularly for autistic students
- Help create customizable learning pathways addressing real-world applications
- Support the implementation of collaborative learning strategies for diverse learners
- Contribute to developing specialized approaches for non-verbal and verbal autistic students
- Aid in creating resources for student athletes exploring purpose beyond sports
**Collaborative Projects**
- Work remotely with diverse undergraduate and graduate students nationally and internationally
- Support mentorship programs connecting professionals with emerging talent
- Help build technology-based solutions for autistic students' learning
- Assist with digital community-building initiatives around shared purpose themes
- Contribute to engagement strategies honoring diverse backgrounds and experiences
**Content Development**
- Support the creation of assessment approaches for diverse learning styles
- Help design digital learning experiences connecting abstract concepts to applications
- Assist with documenting successful strategies for implementation
- Support content development for "Make The Difference" publication
- Help gather resources for purpose-centered discussions and initiatives
### Qualifications
- Current undergraduate or graduate student in Education, Psychology, Special Education, Computer Science, or related field
- Interest in curriculum development and innovative teaching methods
- Passion for supporting neurodivergent learners, particularly autistic students
- Understanding of diverse learning approaches
- Strong digital communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Commitment to purpose discovery and mental health advocacy

**Three Ways to Participate:**
All team members have the opportunity to progress towards a paid stipend as their ideas are refined and developed including the option to progress to the level of independent contactor for Voice Up sponsored for a period of 6 months to 12 months paid an hourly rate of $20 to $30 for a maximum of 15 hours per week per academic semester.
1. **Volunteer Track:** Contribute your talents while building valuable leadership experience and expanding your network. Perfect for those seeking to make an impact alongside other commitments.
2. **Academic Credit:** Earn credit at your institution while leading real-world change. We'll work with your school's specific requirements to ensure the experience meets academic guidelines.
3. **Paid Fellowship:** Selected candidates with strong social impact project proposals may receive stipends of $500-$750 monthly. These opportunities are secured case-by-case through partnerships between Voice Up and potential sponsors. Requires commitment to a 3-4 month specific project.

"Make The Difference" is a global quarterly publication illuminating extraordinary journeys through authentic stories of purpose, mental health, faith, leadership, and community impact. Interns may have the opportunity to contribute or support content development.
