We’re looking for a highly motivated, creative, and detail-oriented Marketing Assistant to support our boutique marketing agency as we scale. This is a part-time position (10 hours per week to start) with room to grow for the right person. 

✨ Who You Are: 

- A social media-savvy marketing whiz who understands content creation, audience engagement, and strategy. 

- A Canva pro with a strong eye for aesthetics, typography, and design. (You’ll help bring our brand’s vintage, country-club-inspired style to life!) 

- A detail-oriented executor who thrives on organization and loves turning creative ideas into polished content. 

- A self-starter with a marketing mindset—you don’t just make things look pretty; you understand branding, positioning, and storytelling. 

- A playful, positive, and fun personality who aligns with The Creative Cabana’s vibe. (We keep things light, luxe, and a little cheeky.) 

🎾 What You’ll Be Doing: 

- Social Media Content Creation

– Assist in developing, designing, and scheduling engaging Instagram posts, carousels, Reels, and Stories. 

- Canva Design Magic

– Create on-brand graphics, templates, and marketing materials that capture our signature Cabana Chic aesthetic. 

- Content Planning & Strategy

– Help brainstorm creative campaigns, track content performance, and implement best practices to optimize reach. 

- Community Engagement

– Interact with followers, respond to DMs, and nurture relationships to grow engagement. 

- Admin & Organization 

– Assist with client content scheduling, research, and occasional light copywriting. 

🌴 Must-Have Skills: ✔️ Proficiency in Canva (design skills & a keen eye for aesthetics) 

✔️ Strong understanding of Instagram, Facebook & TikTok marketing 

✔️ Experience with content scheduling tools (Later, Planoly, or similar) 

✔️ Basic copywriting skills (witty captions, engaging call-to-actions, etc.) 

✔️ Strong attention to detail & organization 

✔️ Ability to work independently & meet deadlines 

🎾 Bonus Points If You Have: 

- Experience in email marketing (Flodesk, Mailchimp, or Kajabi) 

- Familiarity with brand partnerships & influencer marketing 

- Basic video editing skills for Reels/TikToks 

- A love for all things retro, fun, and fabulously on-brand
